Trinity Christian School

Our Mission Statement:

Trinity Christian School of Palm Beach Gardens provides Christian Education that shares Christ's word in a loving, family-oriented environment and that nurtures academic excellence, enhances self-esteem, and builds social responsibility for the complete development of each child as a unique creation of God.

Welcome!

You may know Trinity United Methodist Church as “the pumpkin church” due to our youth department’s successful sale of fall pumpkins each year, but Trinity also houses another mission project – Trinity Christian School of Palm Beach Gardens. With over 40 years of quality Christian education and experience in teaching children at the preschool level (1 yr.-K), Trinity’s School has developed an unquestionably positive reputation in the community.  Many of you have attended Trinity as students and now have your children attending as well.  You are a part of our Trinity family.

To continue our call for discipleship at Trinity, we have expanded our school ministry to the next level. Our new elementary school building was completed in August 2007.  It is housed on the west side of the current church campus.  This multi-purpose building, which includes a full gymnasium and complete computer lab, will supply a service to our church, school, and community for years to come.

As our school is growing, we invite your family to grow with us.  We are building a legacy – one life at a time.  We can’t wait for your family to become a part of ours!  Call me today and schedule a personal tour of our school and meet our loving faculty.

In His service,

Maryanne S. Puglisi

Principal

Programs for 1 & 2-Year-Olds
Trinity's programs for 1 and 2-year-olds are focused on promoting social/emotional development, emergent cognitive skills, and gross and fine motor abilities.  Age appropriate enrichment is offered through activities, stories, and music whereby individual participation is encouraged. Free and creative play aids children in exploring the world around them. The one-year-old program student/teacher ratio is 5 to 1.  The two-year-old program student/teacher ratio is 6 to 1.

Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Extended care hours are available for children in the 2-year-old program.

Preschool
Structured preschool classes for 3 and 4-year-olds provide pre-kindergarten reading readiness skills. The primary focus for these age groups is to develop social/emotional, language, motor (fine and gross), and listening skills while we promote phonics, math and science concepts through a variety of age appropriate activities. Music, art, Bible lessons, themed studies, and free play are also incorporated into the pre-kindergarten program. Special event programs are provided on-site throughout the year. The 3-year-old program student/teacher ratio is 8 to 1.  The 4-year-old program student/teacher ratio is 9 to 1, since a part-time assistant helps in the classroom during the majority of the day.  Children eligible for this program must turn 3 or 4 years old by September 1st of the school year and must be toilet trained.

Elementary School:

In August 2007, the new multi-purpose church facility, including a full gymnasium, opened with grades Kindergarten through third grade. Each year the following grade will be added. Children eligible for the Kindergarten program must turn 5 years old by September 1st.  The elementary program student/teacher ratio is at least 18 to 1 for all elementary classes, since an assistant is in each classroom for part of the day.

The fundamental courses of Bible, reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and geography furnish a solid foundation in all Kindergarten and elementary classes.  Children enjoy enrichment classes in music, art, physical education, Spanish, media center, and computers.  Off campus field trips and a science lab provide added hands-on knowledge almost monthly.  Special event programs are also provided on-site throughout the year.

Classes are held Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM for Kindergarten and elementary classes. Extended care is available until 5:30 PM.
